Job role:

Working adjacent to project manager colleagues and manufacturers you will create robust but cost-effective designs demonstrating at all times a keen eye for detail.

You will be instrumental in bringing concepts to reality by taking briefs from the creative team and develop forward these concepts primarily in Solidworks for prototype & manufacture.

Understanding 3D CAD models and detailed drawings you are able to create drawing suitable for manufacturing with BOM breakdowns.

There is the opportunity to push the boundaries through prototype initiatives and to test new to market concepts.

Constantly this appointee will liaise with carefully chosen suppliers to make sure that agency side we are ahead of the market curve when it comes to advances in materials & technology.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience within the retail design industry

Have to be fully conversant with Solidworks , 3D modelling and 2D drawing creation

AutoCAD experience is on our clients wish list ( not essential ) but would be helpful

Familiar & knowledgeable working with various materials and manufacturing processes

Possess design experience working with varying materials such as glass , metal & acrylic fabrication

Savvy when it comes to managing your time and able to work across multiple ongoing projects

Enthused by a fast-paced work environment & able to communicate complex solutions in a simple & clear fashion

Great comprehension skills able to understand required design standards , store and brand owner guidance.
