Container Transport Planner

Felixstowe

Up to £38,000

The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating the efficient transportation of containers and ensuring timely delivery.

Main Duties:

Plan and coordinate the transportation of company owned vehicles and containers within the UK, ensuring compliance with regulations and customer requirements.
Planning routes and drivers hours.
Collaborate with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to schedule and track shipments.
Analyse transportation data and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
Communicate with drivers, customers, and other stakeholders to provide updates on shipment status and resolve any issues that may arise.
Monitor the performance of transportation operations and address any delays or disruptions proactively.

Requirements:

2 years' experience in transport planning
FCL and LCL operations experience
Experience dealing with container transport
