We have a new opportunity for a Forklift Operative to join our team within Vistry Works East Midlands, at our factory in Coalville, Leicestershire. As our Forklift Operative you will be responsible for assisting in facilitating the accurate and efficient flow of goods throughout VWEM facility, while ensuring that all actions comply with the Company's Health, Safety and Environmental policy.

Trained C/B FLT Operator
Full UK driving license
Extensive, proven experience as a Forklift Operator within a manufacturing facility
Be able to demonstrate genuine interest in working in the manufacturing industry
Resourceful and capable of using own initiative
Excellent time keeping and attendance record
Able to work effectively and safely under pressure
Able to represent the Company professionally at all times
Attention to detail
Customer focused
Able to multitask
A commitment to work as required to meet the needs of the business

Unloading vehicles carrying inbound goods.
Locating goods into cantilever racking.
Consolidating goods to create space within the racking.
Picking raw materials for production lines.
Wrapping finished goods and preparing for despatch.
Picking finished goods for dispatching.
Loading finished pallets on outbound vehicles.
Moving materials within the facility as and when required.
Accurately completing all relevant movement paperwork.
Maintain high standards of hygiene and housekeeping.
Reporting near misses and unsafe activities/incidents.
Carry out all other required logistic duties.
Ensure health & safety standards are maintained.
Maintain facility presentation including tidiness and organisation of storage areas, clearing general debris and ensure compliance with the housekeeping policy.
Distribute tipping skips to working areas and collect when full.
Ensuring all logistic activities are carried out efficiently and safely.
Ensuring all required warehouse duties are performed and recorded accurately.
Maintain high standards of hygiene and housekeeping.
Maintain stock accuracy - 99%.
