The Role

This is an exciting time of growth for us, and we’re looking for a Financial Crime Analyst to join us in ensuring we adhere to regulations when onboarding our customers. Reporting to the Financial Crime Team Leader, the Financial Crime Analyst will be responsible for ensuring adherence to regulation when onboarding new customers. You will be responsible for ensuring all AML and due diligence checks are completed prior to onboarding a customer and raising any suspicious activity identified within this process.

You will:

- Carry out customer due diligence checks

- Review documentation in order to accurately verify customers

- Utilise external Credit Reference Agencies to obtain and verify information relating to Anti Money Laundering

- Support in the implementation of Financial Crime related policies

- Represent the team as a subject matter expert, ensuring input to projects, systems and process design

- Ensure that you update and maintain your knowledge with regular training.

- You have a great work ethic, the desire to learn and develop your skills and knowledge in a specialist area.

A financial services background would be beneficial to your application, in particular in the area of fraud, compliance or AML.
