Location: Cherry Tree Avenue, Stoke-on-Trent, ST7 3EL
Contract Type: Permanent, Term Time only
Weekly Hours: 30 hours Monday - Friday
Start Date: ASAP

Are you a passionate and experienced cook/chef looking for a rewarding opportunity? Our client, Mellors, is looking for a School Cook to join their team at this wonderful school for autistic children. As the School Cook, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the school kitchen, ensuring the provision of high-quality meals that meet the nutritional and dietary needs of the students. Your expertise in cooking will allow you to create a positive dining experience while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.

The Key Requirements:

Experience in working with Special Needs children is preferred
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations, and the ability to implement and maintain strict standards
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
To perform duties as directed by the Area Manager
