About The Role
Team – Sourcing - Group Operations
Working Pattern - Hybrid – 2 days per week in the Vitality Bournemouth Office. Full time, 35 hours per week.

This exciting new Sourcing Business Partner role will have direct responsibility for the sourcing, contract, and supplier management for Group Insurance for the organisation. It is vitally important that this role ensures the right levels of cover are in place to protect the organisation. This role will be a great opportunity for a driven individual to drive this space in the Sourcing team forwards and be willing to learn more about Group Insurance agreements. 
The role holder will also have duties for other sourcing work, which will include the identification, engagement and onboarding of third parties for products and services. You will also oversee the ongoing management of Vitality’s existing supplier base; and the category management of areas of spend to drive best value.

Key Actions
1. Corporate Insurance

Identification and evaluation of potential risks to the company's assets, operations, and personnel, and evaluation of these in terms of impact and likelihood.
Be the point of contact for all corporate insurance claims, and all related insurance queries, dealing with multiple of internal and external stakeholders, to advise on best practice.2. Sourcing / Category Management

Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to define category focused sourcing strategies to meet sourcing and business objectives.
Utilise existing knowledge and conduct market research to identify potential corporate insurance suppliers, define the preferred sourcing solution and manage any cut-throat (RFI/RFP) exercises to meet business and commercial requirements.
Draft and implement robust contracts and service schedules with selected suppliers in order to maximise business value. Mitigation of risk and liaising with Legal is required as standard. 3. Supplier Management

Provide effective management of supplier relationships within Vitality’s defined supplier management framework. You will manage all associated risk and compliance activities, driving post contract value and stakeholder management.
Perform on-going supplier management and assurance actions across a portfolio of suppliers to help Vitality effectively manage service performance.4. Contract Management

Effectively manage a portfolio of corporate insurance renewals via the Contract Lifecycle Management process and identify efficiency improvements and cost savings. You will enable the business to maintain required levels of cover to mitigate risk. 
What do you need to thrive?

Possess specific knowledge and experience in Corporate/Group Insurance management strategy and implementation primarily in General Insurance corporate coverage.
Have impressive experience of negotiations with suppliers to deliver value and mitigate contractual risk
Show a broad understanding of contract drafting, service definition, performance and commercial structures
Have a proven record of effective category management, demonstrating the implementation of sourcing strategy, supplier rationalisation and supplier innovation
Be able to communicate, influence, and network with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally
Possess a positive level of proficiency of desktop applications including Excel, Word, SharePoint, and Powerpoint
