Our client, a leading authority in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a Service Management Governance Lead to join their team in Samlesbury on a contract basis. This role is pivotal within the Air Business Unit, with a focus on IT Service Management, ensuring robust governance and compliance across service delivery frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
Developing and implementing IT service management governance structures and policies
Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal standards
Overseeing service delivery processes to maintain high performance and quality
Collaborating with internal teams to align service management with business needs
Providing guidance and support on service management best practices
Managing risk identification and mitigation strategies within service governance
Monitoring and reporting on service management metrics and KPIs
Driving continuous improvement initiatives within the service management framework
Job Requirements:
Experience in IT Service Management
Strong knowledge of service governance frameworks
Understanding of regulatory compliance within the Defence & Security sector
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Proficiency in developing policies and procedures
Ability to analyse and report on performance metrics
Problem-solving aptitude and attention to detail
Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with onsite presence required 3-4 days per week

Contract Duration: 12 months
Security Clearance: BPSS
Hybrid Working: 3-4 days per week on site
