Planned Works Supervisor

The Company:

Build Recruitment are currently working with a housing association, who are looking for a Supervisor to join them on a permanent basis within their planned works team.

Ideal candidates will be an experienced supervisor, with experience of supervising planned refurbishments within the housing association sector. Main refurbishment projects will include kitchen and bathroom upgrades, window and door replacements and general planned property refurbishments.

You will need to be NVQ qualified in a trade such as carpentry, plumbing or electrics and also hold a NVQ 3 or equivalent qualification.

Day to Day:

Managing a team of 3 trade operatives and sub contractors to supervise refurbishment projects in void and occupied properties
Surveying properties and identifying works to be completed
Planning and monitoring works
Updating excel spreadsheets, in house CRM and sending emails
Tenant and end client updates
CDM knowledge
H&S, Risk assessments
Split of office based and site based work
Requirements (Skills & Qualifications):

Experienced Supervisor in planned maintenance
Trade background - NVQ 2 qualified
NVQ level 3 qualified or equivalent 
Experience of refurbishment projects essential
Strong people management skills
Must be IT literate
