Data Management Consultant (SC Cleared)
About the Role:
Our client, a leading organisation in the defence sector, is seeking a skilled Data Management Consultant to join their team on a 6-month contract. As a key member of their team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the effective management and governance of their critical data assets.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement data management policies, standards, and procedures
Conduct data audits and assessments to identify and address data quality issues
Collaborate with data owners and stakeholders to define data ownership, stewardship, and accountability
Support data migration and integration activities
Design and implement data retention and archival policies
Provide guidance on data security and privacy best practices
Identify and mitigate data risks and vulnerabilitiesRequired Skills and Experience:
Active SC clearance is essential
Strong understanding of data management principles and methodologies
Experience in data governance and data quality management
Knowledge of data privacy regulations and industry standards
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Contract Details:
Inside IR35
Daily rate: £500 - £550 per day
Contract duration: 6 months
