As part of our ambitious expansion strategy, we are opening a brand new office in Birmingham and are looking for a dynamic and driven Consultant to lead this exciting venture.
The Role: This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced recruitment professional who is passionate about education and looking to take on a leadership role in establishing and growing a new office. As the Consultant responsible for the launch, you will play a crucial part in shaping the success of the new branch from the ground up. Your responsibilities will include:
* Office Setup & Strategy: Leading the establishment of the new office, including recruitment of initial staff, setting up operations, and implementing key processes and systems.
* Business Development: Identifying and developing relationships with new educational clients, including schools, academies, and local education authorities, to drive business growth.
* Recruitment & Talent Management: Managing the recruitment of teachers, teaching assistants, and other educational professionals. Matching candidates to client requirements and ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
* Team Leadership: Building and mentoring a high-performing team, providing coaching and support as the office expands.
* Sales & Revenue Growth: Driving sales targets and business KPIs, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth of the new branch.
* Brand Representation: Representing the company at industry events, networking with education professionals, and ensuring the new office becomes a trusted partner in the education sector.
Who We’re Looking For:
* Proven Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in recruitment, preferably in the education sector or a similar professional services environment.
* Leadership Potential: A track record of successfully leading teams, driving business development, and achieving revenue growth.
* Entrepreneurial Spirit: A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, start-up environment and is motivated by the challenge of building something from the ground up.
* Excellent Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships with both clients and candidates.
* Passionate About Education: A genuine interest in the education sector and a commitment to helping schools and educational institutions thrive through quality recruitment.
* Organisational Expertise: Highly organised with excellent time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a busy, dynamic environment.
Why Join Us?
* Exciting Growth Opportunity: Be at the forefront of a new office launch with the opportunity to shape its direction and success.
* Support & Training: Full training and ongoing support from a highly experienced and supportive leadership team.
* Competitive Salary & Incentives: A generous salary, with performance-related bonuses, and opportunities for career progression as the office expands.
* A Passionate Team: Join a team that is passionate about making a difference in education and building lasting partnerships.
How to Apply: If you’re an experienced recruitment consultant with a passion for education and ready to take on an exciting new challenge, we’d love to hear from you! Please send your CV and a covering letter detailing your relevant experience and why you’re the perfect fit for this role to Dean Silver at JDS Recruitment
