We’re looking for an experienced Machine Tool Applications Engineer to join our client’s team in the precision engineering sector. This is a key role offering a competitive salary of £50k - £60k + package for a skilled engineer who’s ready to deliver advanced support and drive innovation across the UK.

📌 Role Overview:

In this position, you’ll play a critical part in ensuring client satisfaction and optimising machine tool performance. You’ll provide hands-on technical support, troubleshooting, and optimisation across a variety of CNC machinery. The role involves travel across the UK, with frequent overnight stays, and may include occasional travel within Europe. This is a fantastic opportunity for a machine tool expert to collaborate with a team that values precision and efficiency.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Technical Support: Serve as the go-to expert for technical advice, troubleshooting, and customer queries on advanced CNC machine tools.

Process Optimisation: Work closely with clients to develop and enhance machine processes, ensuring the highest standards of productivity and product quality.

On-Site Support: Deliver installations, training, and demonstrations, providing hands-on support and showcasing the capabilities of cutting-edge machinery.

Customer Collaboration: Build strong client relationships by understanding their needs, recommending best practices, and offering customised solutions that align with their specific operational goals.

Who We’re Looking For:

Apprentice Trained: Formal training and experience in precision engineering or a related field (degree not required but beneficial).

Extensive CNC Knowledge: Strong background in CNC programming, machine tool applications, and process optimisation.

Effective Communicator: Able to explain technical processes in a clear, approachable way, and skilled at building rapport with clients and colleagues.

Willing to Travel: Must be comfortable with regular UK-wide travel and overnight stays, and open to occasional travel within Europe.
