Light Commercial Mechanic
Location: Botley, Hampshire
Salary: £48,000 - £52,000 DOE, with potential earnings up to £60,000
Position Overview:
We are recruiting an experienced Light Commercial Mechanic to support our fleet department in Botley, Hampshire. This is a hands-on
role ideal for a dedicated mechanic with a strong background in vehicle maintenance and repair. The role includes a competitive salary,

Key Responsibilies:
- Conduct Ministry and inspection-level servicing as outlined on service lists.
- Perform repairs based on reported defects and maintenance schedules.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults to ensure vehicle efficiency and safety.
- Complete job cards accurately and ensure timely returns.
- Liaise with stores to manage stock and parts efficiently.
- Carry out routine servicing and general maintenance on HGV vehicles.
- Prepare vehicles for MOT and maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Attend breakdowns and provide rapid response repairs as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working within HGV/LCV mechanics.
- Proven track record in diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance of commercial vehicles.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to health and safety standards.
