Job Description:

Responsibilities

* Drive quality management initiatives and support site objectives, ensuring alignment with business goals.

* Assist with quality and site management reporting, contributing to clear and actionable insights.

* Play a key role in setting and achieving departmental and individual objectives to enhance performance.

* Lead or participate in continuous improvement activities focused on quality, lean manufacturing, and waste reduction.

* Take an active role in problem-solving using methodologies such as 8D and Six Sigma.

* Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems (QMS) standards and meet customer-specific requirements.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain and enhance internal and customer quality standards.

* Support the warranty process and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including customers and suppliers.

* Provide regular updates and feedback through structured reviews and reporting mechanisms.

* Promote a safe working environment by ensuring adherence to safe operating procedures.

* Facilitate coaching and development activities to support team growth.

* Manage relevant systems, metrics, and reporting to drive accountability and performance.

* Conduct and support internal audits across safety, systems, and processes.

* Contribute to additional responsibilities as required to support the success of the team.

Skill Required:

Essential:

* Strong leadership skills in problem-solving, paired with excellent analytical abilities.

* Experience in creating and improving quality control systems, including PFMEA, control plans, and working-level documents.

* Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively present to both internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

* Solid understanding of measurement methods and methodologies.

* Proficient in using PC-based tools and reporting software.

Desirable:

* HNC qualification or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline.

* Previous experience within the automotive sector.

* Training in Six Sigma or other problem-solving methodologies, with knowledge of quality tools.

* Familiarity with QMS, quality systems, and auditing processes.
