Electronics Test Engineer

Outside IR35

Requirements

Experience in a PCB test environment
Able to diagnose and identify faults
Good knowledge of electronics components
Able to read schematics
Able to understand BoMs
Must be computer-literate
Rework experience would also be advantageous, as would be a working knowledge of IPC standards (although neither are essential)

Responsibilities

Preparing PCBs for test
Testing PCBs on a dedicated automated test system (training will be provided)
Confirming faults found and undertaking further diagnostics as required
If candidate has re-work experience: reworking PCBs (replacing components etc) and re-test
Preparing PCBs for shipment
Working in a small team you will need to have a flexible approach and be a good communicator
UK passport needed due to working in a high-security environment
