Salary: £44k + Annual Bonus + Company Car

What you'll be doing:

Managing daily commercial activities (commercial requests, RFQ/ROM, etc.)

Maintaining good client relationships and promoting Veolia expertise in order to facilitate negotiations and continue winning new projects

Helping the operational teams to recognise and mitigate risks by bringing solutions to commercial challenges

Supporting the CM/GM to ensure that the organisation complies with contractual and statutory obligations

Managing the review and continuous development of commercial processes and procedures for the PAC, Tidworth PFI contracts and Tidworth Inset

Challenging existing contracts and supporting negotiation of new contracts with the support of the Head of Commercial (IWE South)

Managing or Supporting the resolution of commercial disputes

Recognising and optimising business opportunities.

Working together with relevant departments to develop accurate and consistent bids/proposals

Performing quality checks of the proposals and highlighting value for money opportunities and contractual issues to customers through these submissions.

Managing appropriate financial sign-off of commercial quotations prior to issue, in accordance with the Delegation of Authorities.

Working with procurement to ensure supply chain contracts are structured to suitably mitigate contract risks.

Ensuring transparency on financial data through accurate cost control, analysis, and reporting, and maximising project profitability.

Other tasks as directed by the CM, GM or the Head of Commercial.

What we're looking for:

Excellent management and organisational skills to balance and prioritise their workload and meet deadlines

Excellent customer service skills

Stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of project management and risk management

Knowledge of laws and regulations applicable to the Water Industry

Strategic and negotiation skills to make sound commercial decisions

Previous knowledge and experience of operations and maintenance contracts.
