Quality Assurance Manager in Moorthorpe - CV-Library

We are looking for an experienced QA Manager with a background in short-shelf-life food manufacturing and proven success leading a team and improving processes. This is an excellent opportunity to shape the QA operations for a well-established and growing business.

Reporting to the Technical Manager, the QA Manager will lead a QC Team (approximately x8), collaborate with cross-functional departments, and implement strategic quality systems to optimise product consistency, safety, and quality. This role requires a deep understanding of food safety protocols, quality control systems, and continuous improvement practices and will oversee quality management, food safety, and regulatory compliance.

Experience with leading on a broad range of internal and external audits is key, along with customer complaints and risk assessments. Experience with retailers will be an advantage.

This is a Monday-Friday days-based role. Initially there will be a requirement to join a weekend on-call rota (approximately once per month). The role comes with a competitive package.
