Are you a seasoned multi-skilled technician seeking a new challenge that allows you to showcase your diverse skills? Look no further than this opportunity as a Mechanical, Electrical, and Automation Technician with a leading global manufacturer. In this dynamic role, you'll be at the forefront of maintaining and optimising state-of-the-art injection blow moulding, stretch blow moulding, extrusion, and automation systems. Your technical expertise will be put to the test as you:

· Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on complex manufacturing equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.

· Dive into the world of automation, programming and fine-tuning PLCs, HMIs, and robotics to streamline production processes.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, sharing your knowledge and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

· Interpret technical schematics and blueprints, applying your expertise to resolve intricate mechanical and electrical challenges.

To excel in this role, you'll need:

· Proven experience as a technician in a manufacturing environment, with a deep understanding of injection blow moulding, stretch blow moulding, extrusion, and automation systems.

· Exceptional electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills and proficiency in working with PLCs, automation controls, and HMIs.

· The ability to read and interpret technical documentation, complemented by robust problem-solving abilities.

· A proactive mindset, always seeking opportunities for improvement and optimisation.

· Flexibility to work on a rolling weekday two-shift basis, ensuring their production lines never miss a beat.

You'll possess a relevant technical certification or diploma in electrical, mechanical, or automation engineering, along with hands-on experience in the plastics manufacturing industry.
