SALARY - UP TO £55,000!

The role:
This role is part of a team in Bristol focused on supporting programs throughout their product lifecycles, primarily establishing and executing risk reduction and qualification strategies to bring products into service. The team collaborates closely with others who perform Radio Frequency (RF) and Infra-red (IR) signature assessments to ensure consistent alignment. The position requires overseeing and managing aspects related to radar cross-section (RCS) hardware readiness for product development and qualification, along with contributing to performance evidence gathering. Responsibilities include placing and managing requirements for design authorities, guiding mechanical design engineers in creating manufacturing definitions, interacting with various business areas to meet project needs, and managing the supply chain to ensure timely, high-quality, and cost-effective procurement. Additionally, gathering performance baselines to support evidence for reporting is a key aspect of the role.
What we want from you:
Higher education or experience in fields such as physics, electromagnetics, electrical, mechanical, or similar areas
Project coordination and management experience, ideally with some supply chain exposure
Understanding of electrical and mechanical construction and interfacing
Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication skills for engaging with a range of stakeholders, including internal customers and subcontractors/suppliers at both engineering and management levelsFor Security Clearance reasons to work this role you must have British citizenship or be a dual national with British citizenship
