Are you an experienced Quality Manager looking for a new challenge? Our client, a reputable organisation in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Manager to join their team in Lancaster.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive quality strategy, collaborating with the CEO and Operations team to meet organisational objectives.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, eliminate complaints, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
Perform gap analysis and troubleshoot to address current quality issues and non-conformances.
Maintain compliance with ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards.
Conduct quality tests at various stages of the manufacturing process to ensure product quality.
Work collaboratively with the quality and operations teams to develop and implement effective quality control processes.
Monitor production to resolve quality issues, ensure product compliance, and optimise operational efficiency.
Manage Quality Assurance and Environmental Management Systems, ensuring ISO9001 and ISO14001 certification.
Engage stakeholders at all levels to create a collaborative and trusting environment, fostering a culture of quality and compliance.
Utilise data analysis to drive insights and refine local quality strategies.
Lead and develop the Quality team, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to enhance performance.Qualifications and Experience:
Preferred 5 years of experience in a quality and compliance role, and 2 years in people management.
Proven experience in implementing quality control processes, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
Strong analytical skills to interpret quality data and inform decision-making.
Excellent leadership and project management skills.
