LINKS Recruitment Group present a fantastic opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to work within a well-established company who are continuously growing due to company success.

The role:

You will be working within a team, carrying out PPM’s and maintenance on a range of production machinery.

* To continually carry out, routine / preventative maintenance/mechanical settings and fault diagnosis across all the facility and systems, some major items include;

* Vertical powder paint line.

* Semi – automated packing (tapping & spiral wrap) lines.

* Paint line conveyor/track.

* Spray guns reciprocator.

* A range of liquid pumps, valves and heating elements in chemical treatment and wastewater treatment plant; and

* Polyamide rolling lines and packing machines.

* To have an understanding of pneumatic / mechanical control systems.

* To have an understanding of electro / mechanical control systems.

* To adhere to and maintain a preventative maintenance programme.

* To liaise with and assist internal staff where required, promptly and in a professional manner.

The Person:

* Completion of an engineering apprenticeship and/or HNC level or above in a engineering-related subject; or equivalent experience within a relevant engineering role

* Experience of working within a manufacturing environment.

* You will be multi-skilled, with the ability to fault-find and repair both mechanical and electrical fields.

* Experience across a variety of pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.

* Ability to perform both proactive & reactive maintenance duties using a scheduled maintenance system.

Role: Permanent

Shifts: 2 shift pattern (days & afternoons)

Week 1 - M-T 6-2 Friday 6-12

Week 2– 2-11 Monday to Thursday 12-6 Friday
