Sewell Wallis are currently recruiting for a Bookkeeper to join a very well-established accountancy practice based in North Leeds.
The successful candidate will be joining a very experienced finance team with lots of room to develop, it's the perfect role for someone wanting to take the next steps in their career.
The role will focus on looking at purchase ledger, sales ledger, VAT and credit.
What will you be doing?
Monitoring various electronic mailboxes.
Scanning and referencing incoming invoices into the system.
VAT Returns.
Reviewing debtors and creditors.
Sorting and sending outgoing Accounts Payable and Receivable invoices.
Dealing with Accounts Payable queries.
Dealing with customer statements and remittances by post and email.What skills are we looking for?
Have prior experience in a similar role ideally from practice.
Have strong Excel skills.
Have strong IT skills or the ability to pick up new systems quickly.What's on offer?
