Wood Machinist / Bench Joiner in Leeds - CV-Library

Insite International are currently recruiting for a Wood Machinist to work in Elland, HX5 Area.

Starts Available ASAP / Interviews ASAP
12 week Temp to Perm position.
12 weeks working through Insite & then the end client will offer you a permanent position.
42.5 Hours Per Week: 7:30-5pm Monday to Thursday, 8am-3pm on Fridays
Overtime is available.
£20.00 Per Hour

Our client is actively looking for an experienced Wood Machinist, whom also has vast knowledge & experience as a Hand Bench Joiner.

Duties to include;

* Operate Woodworking Machines: Use machines such as planers, thicknessers, moulders, saws, to shape and finish wood products to specified dimensions.

* Bench Hand Joinery: Perform joinery tasks including measuring, cutting, and assembling wood components using hand tools and machinery.

* Quality Control: Ensure all products meet the highest quality standards, with attention to detail and precision in workmanship.

* Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of woodworking machines and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.

The correct applicant will have;

* Experience in both Wood Machinery & Hand Bench Joinery

* Knowledge of CNC Machinery is desirable but not essential

* Strong communication skills

* Attention to detail

* Certification/Qualifications in Wood Machinery or Bench Joinery are desirable but not essential
