Technical Field Sales Representative
Location: Nottingham
Salary: £35k (DOE) + company car
Hours: Mon-Fri

Grafton Recruitment are looking for an experienced Technical Field Sales Rep for one of our successful, niche manufacturing companies in the Nottingham area. The perfect candidate will have extensive sales experience within an engineering background, positive, can do attitude with a confident approach.

Roles & responsibilities:

Technical Workholding Engineering Sales / Business Development Representative is to identify new business opportunities across all manufacturing sectors to provide Workholding solutions.
Achieve and exceed Sales Targets.
Developing sales strategies.
Review your performance regularly and discuss performance with your manager.
Maintain regular contact with your clients to strengthen relationships ensuring spend is maximised.
Complete after sales calls to ensure customer satisfaction and identify further opportunities.
Create tenders and quotes for new business.
Present technical solutions that are relevant to your customer needs and to secure long term commitment from customers.
Liaise with the design team to ensure projects are delivered within scope.
Deliver effective client presentations.
Manage your time effectively utilising your electronic diary and CRM system.
You will need:

Formal qualifications in manufacturing engineering with experience in workholding or tooling as a related field.
Ability to read and create technical drawings.
5+ years of experience as a sales engineer or in a similar technical sales role.
Strong technical background and ability to understand complex technical concepts/drawings and effectively communicate them to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Demonstrable experience in presenting technical products and services to customers, providing expert advice and troubleshooting customer queries.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify customer needs and propose innovative solutions.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Familiarity with CRM and sales management tools
Willingness to travel as required.
