Job Description

Aa an Aircraft Fitter you will be responsible for Maintenance, Repairs and Modifications to the aircraft. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Responsible for the maintenance of the aircraft and safe use of ground equipment
Can accurately navigate and interpret aircraft maintenance documentation.
Carry out aircraft modifications and light structural work if required.
Compliance with the organisational policies and procedures detailed in the company's MOE and supporting manuals
Identifying and rectifying existing and potential unsafe conditions
Maintaining the work environment in a clean and safe manner using a "clean as you go" approach
Complying with company Safety Management System (SMS) occurrence reporting procedures
Complying with the the company's safety policy
Complete aircraft paperwork to a high standard
An awareness of COSHH, Working at height and Manual handling safety requirements
Actively embrace a Continuous Improvement (CI) cultureCandidate Requirements

Must currently have eligibility to live and work in the UK, unfortunately sponsorship cannot currently be offered.
Must hold a valid aircraft standards-based qualification (Apprenticeship/NVQ level 3) or aircraft related academic qualification/traineeship with a minimum 3 years recorded experience or be able to satisfy the company's Training / Maintenance management team.
Current Human factor initial and refresher, EWIS and SFAR 88 certificate
Knowledge of aeronautical regulations
Must have the right to live and work in the United Kingdom
Fluency in English, both written and verbal
Be able to successful complete security clearanceDesirable Criteria

Experience Airbus or Boeing aircraft is desired
Previous exposure to (email address removed) and AMOS
Knowledge of MRP Part 145 regulations
Have good communication skills, both verbally and written, and interpersonal skills
A proven ability to work as part of a team
Be able to work on their own initiative and demonstrate leadership skills
Possess proficient organisational skills and an ability to work in an efficient manner
IPAF/MEWP familiarisationTypical Working Conditions

Primarily based in Oxfordshire however travel may be required
Shift Pattern: 5,5,4-day shift (Apply online only)
