MC Technical Recruitment are looking for a Mechanical Technician to work within the Energy from Waste sector.  We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Technician to join a dynamic team on the Isle of Wight. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for solving complex technical problems. As a Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

As the Mecahnical Technician, you will be responsible for:

Carry out team briefs and toolbox talks
Perform PPM, inspections and reports in an efficient manner
Working with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems – or must be willing to undertake training
Help to maintain standards set out in KPI’s
Communicate problems promptly through management or CMMS to ensure a quick resolution
Proactive maintenance strategies and condition monitoring
Carrying out Mechanical Maintenance
Ensure the health and safety of staff, customer, premises and equipment by always encouraging and monitoring site best practices
Comply with Health and Safety legislation
To be considered for this role you should have:

IOSH qualification
CSE/GCSE equivalent
Maintenance Experience
