I am currently recruiting on behalf of a luxury automotive manufacturer. They are looking for a Wheel & Tyre (Chassis) Project Engineer to join their team on a long term rolling contract basis

Job Description

As a Wheel & Tyre (Chassis) Project Engineer your main responsibilities are:

5+ years of automotive design experience in Chassis systems as a project engineer
Aluminium Casting / Forging Experience
Low volume vehicle experience
Supplier interface experience
DVP, DFMEA and technical spec generation
Strong leadership of a team of high performance Design engineers.
Catia V5 literate (Spin & Review for role)Qualifications / Skills needed

Education to Degree level
Experience with Wheels & Tyre development
Good understanding of mechanical design requirements for typical automotive applications e.g. fastening, structural, CAE and manufacturing techniques.
PC literate and at ease with MS Office products
