Quality Manager
Up to £50,000 per annum (depending on skills and abilities)
Permanent role in Flintshire
Working hours: Monday to Thursday 08:15 to 17:00 and Friday 08:15 to 13:00.

The role:
We are supporting our client to recruit an experienced Quality Manager who will be responsible for maintaining and developing the quality management system (QMS) ensuring the final product is built with compliance to legal standards.
Main Duties of the Quality Manager:
Ensure compliance and development of installed systems, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ATEX, PED, ISPM15, and PAS99 standards.
Serve as the primary liaison with external bodies for all listed standards.
Maintain and enhance the Quality Management System (QMS).
Lead monthly quality review meetings.
Increase profitability by proactively addressing Quality Assurance issues, focusing on the design process, FMEA, and compliance with statutory requirements for general business operations and major contracts.
Identify and leverage opportunities for continuous improvement across the Company's systems and procedures.
Conduct internal and external audits.
Understand customer needs to develop effective quality control processes.
Develop and evaluate specifications for products and processes.
Set and monitor compliance requirements for raw materials and intermediate products provided by suppliers.
Oversee inspectors, technicians, and other staff, providing guidance and feedback as needed.
Supervise product development procedures to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Inspect final outputs, verifying that they meet required specifications.
Approve compliant products and reject defective ones.
Maintain accurate documentation and perform statistical analyses.
Gather and analyse customer feedback to confirm that requirements are met.
Prepare and submit detailed reports to relevant executives.
Candidate:
The successfully appointed Quality Manager will have:
Experience in a quality role in an ISO 9001 manufacturing environment, is essential.
Proven experience in a quality management role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
Computer literate - must be able to use MS Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, etc.
Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and tools.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of staff.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Project management skills would be an advantage.
ERP system, Syspro would be an advantage.
