Roles & Responsibilities

Manage small capital projects from conception and ensure the approval, design, procurement, construction and commissioning of capital projects, ensuring that designs are safe, efficient, maintainable and controllable.
Accountable for ensuring that assigned projects comply with all relevant internal & external standards/requirements.
Provide the Project Team Manager (or designee) with expenditure forecasts for assigned projects.
Undertake the chemical/process engineering design for assigned projects.
Actively undertake safety participation activities and assigned site safety actions.
Provide occasional incident/accident investigation support.
Ensuring process safety plant information is kept up to date.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will be a degree qualified engineer, preferably with a degree in Chemical Engineering with industrial placement year.

Key experience would ideally include -

Project Management skills.
Working in multi-disciplinary teams.
Chemical/process engineering design.
Experience within heavy industry preferred
