About the Role:
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with students in our isolation unit, providing guidance and support to help them overcome behavioural challenges. Additionally, you will play a key role in maintaining a safe and productive school environment through regular on-call duties, which include monitoring the campus and assisting students as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 and group support to students in the isolation unit, helping them to manage their behaviour and focus on learning
Monitor the campus and respond to on-call duties, ensuring students are safe and supported
Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to develop strategies for student success
Help to reinforce school policies and encourage positive behaviours
Requirements:
Experience working with young people, ideally in a school or youth work setting
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging behaviour effectively
A proactive approach to maintaining a safe and supportive school environment
