Job Description

Are you a skilled secretary with excellent audio typing abilities? Do you thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment? We have an exciting opportunity as a Medical Secretary with our public sector client.

As a Medical Secretary, you will provide vital administrative support to a busy department. Your exceptional typing skills and meticulous attention to detail will ensure that documentation is accurately transcribed and maintained in a timely manner.

Temporary position: Monday- Friday 9AM-5PM. Part time/ flexible hours considered for the right applicant.

Hourly rate from £11.44 to £12.31.

Key Responsibilities:

Efficiently and accurately type medical reports, correspondence, and other documents
Maintain and update patient records, ensuring confidentiality and data protection
Schedule appointments and manage calendars for healthcare professionals
Handle telephone calls, inquiries, and messages, providing exceptional customer service
Manage incoming and outgoing mail and emails
Collaborate with colleagues to support efficient operation of the department
Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulationsSkills and Qualifications:

Proficient in typing and audio typing techniques
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite
