🕒 Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Grounds and Landscaping Supervisor to join our team in Northampton. If you are passionate about horticulture and enjoy working in outdoor environments, this role is perfect for you!

As the Grounds and Landscaping Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and development of a variety of landscapes, ensuring high standards of upkeep and presentation. You will lead a team of operatives, manage horticultural projects, and ensure that all work is completed safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

* Overseeing day-to-day maintenance of grounds and landscaping areas

* Managing a team of landscaping operatives, providing training and support

* Planning and executing horticultural projects, including planting, pruning, and landscaping

* Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations

* Operating and maintaining landscaping equipment and tools

* Managing the use of pesticides and herbicides, ensuring all legal requirements are met

What we're looking for:

* Proven experience in horticulture and grounds maintenance

* NVQ Level 2-3 in Amenity Horticulture (or equivalent) – preferred

* PA1 and PA6 Spray Certificates – essential

* Strong leadership and organizational skills

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Full UK driving license is desirable
