Manage spares inventory and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure availability of essential spares, and secure storage of critical long-lead-time spares.
Perform and record all daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks in line with the maintenance schedule.
Provide guidance and training to operators for routine reactive maintenance tasks.
Review and develop maintenance plans, improving strategies as experience with the equipment grows.

Propose improvements to reduce downtime and increase plant efficiency.
Provide flexible cover for staff shortages and attend call-outs to address breakdowns.
Perform other reasonable duties as required by the Site Manager.
Essential Skills:

Proven ability to fault-find and repair low-voltage electrical equipment.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a maintenance environment, with expertise in mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Familiarity with bulk material conveying systems and process mixers.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Team player, capable of educating others on the importance of plant maintenance.
Ability to improve systems and processes, and adjust routines as experience grows.
Willingness to work independently and use initiative.
Flexibility to handle out-of-hours contact.
Desirable Skills:

Vocational safety qualifications.
Mobile plant operating certificates, such as Counterbalance FLT or Front End Loader.
This position offers a great opportunity for a skilled engineer to take ownership of site maintenance and make a significant impact. If you’re ready to take on a challenging yet rewarding role, we’d love to hear from you!
