Job Description

Cure Talent is thrilled to partner with a global engineering leader in designing, developing, and manufacturing bespoke machinery for the medical device industry. With ongoing growth, we’re offering a unique opportunity for a Senior Control Systems Engineer to join our dynamic, multidisciplinary team in Bristol.

In this role, you’ll lead the design of advanced electrical control systems for innovative packaging and process machinery. Leveraging AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN, you’ll produce detailed circuit designs, conduct control system safety analyses using Sistema and manage BOMs through Agile.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead design work on customer projects, attending specification meetings to contribute to the electrical design strategy.

* Collaborate with mechanical and electrical design engineers to ensure cohesive project delivery.

* Design electrical control systems using the latest CAD tools.

* Develop PLC, Servo Motion, and HMI code using Rockwell, Beckhoff, and Zenon.

* Prepare and manage Bills of Materials through product lifecycle management software.

About You:

To excel, you’ll need an HNC or equivalent in electrical engineering with experience in capital equipment—ideally in packaging machinery. You’re skilled in CAD, experienced in designing for manufacture and assembly, and knowledgeable in standards like UKCA, UL, AS3000, and CE.
