Electrician in Northampton - CV-Library

TXM Recruit is working in partnership with an award-winning Building Services Company. They are looking for an Electrician to join their working on a portfolio of commercial and industrial installation and maintenance contracts in Northampton and surrounding areas.

This is a permanent position, suitable for someone looking for long-term employment.

The type of works will vary from construction, refurbishments, and maintenance contracts across a range of commercial and domestic projects.

MAIN DUTIES

* Install and upgrade electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.

* Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently.

* Work in production environment and have a basic knowledge of machinery fault finding.

* Read and interpret, schematics, and technical drawings.

* Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.

* Collaborate with other team members working as part of the team or individually.

Pay: £40'000 - £43'000 Per annum
Overtime available during evenings and weekends at higher rates.
Hours: 45 hours per week (8-hour working day), Monday - Friday.
Company vehicle, fuel, card + package including 25 days annual leave.

REQUIREMENTS

* Time served electrical apprenticeship or equivalent.

* JIB Gold card

* 18th Edition

* 2391 Test & Inspection (desirable).

* Proven experience as an electrician in the commercial and industrial sectors.

* Some knowledge of production machinery for manufacturing (desirable).

* Understanding of electrical regulations and safety standards.

* Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.

* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

* Good communication and teamwork abilities.
