Job Description

Our client is looking for an IT Manager to take responsibility for managing the company's IT infrastructure.

The role is to deliver a seamless operation and also flawless security across all digital systems.

This is an exciting opportunity to work for this industry leader who operates across the UK, Europe and US and currently employ 30 plus in the UK alone.

You will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day management of IT systems, leading IT projects, troubleshooting technical issues, and implementing technology solutions that enhance business efficiency.

Day to day duties include:

* Oversee the day-to day management of IT systems, networks and servers (hardware & software)

* Management of a small team, building team spirit and motivating team members

* Administrating of user accounts

* Installation, repair and maintenance of all IT hardware/ software throughout the UK operation.

* Identify areas of improvement within the business of the IT infrastructure

* Lead IT projects (infrastructure/ deployment of new IT systems)

* Provide front-line support for staff members alongside the other members of the IT Team

* Supporting, appraising, developing and coaching the team of engineers

Required skills and qualifications:

* Ideally previous experience managing a small team within an IT environment

* A strong understanding of relevant technologies such as Windows Operating Environment, Cloud Services, Virtualisation, Hosting, Networking and Storage

* Experience with:

o All major operating systems (including windows, iOS and Linux)

o Administrating Azure cloud infrastructure

o Administrating Microsoft active directory

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal) to complement technical proficiency, facilitating effective collaboration and problem-solving
