Job Description

Reporting to: Senior Engineering Manager

Mission

This new and impactful role is directly responsible for leading, empowering, and motivating a talented and growing team of Systems Engineers focused on semiconductor manufacturing equipment. You'll drive progress from concept to customer commissioning and field trials, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget, and precise specification alignment.

Main Responsibilities

Serve at the core of engineering and product development, applying Systems Engineering tools and methods to create clarity from ambiguity.
Translate product vision into structured Requirements using Systems Engineering processes, including Use Cases, Context Diagrams, Architectures, etc.
Utilize Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methods to build Functional, Logical, and Behavioral architectures.
Collaborate with various engineering teams to clarify work packages, conduct trade-off studies, and resolve engineering issues effectively.
Lead and mentor a team of Systems Engineers, fostering growth and development towards becoming Lead Systems Engineers.
Contribute to the evolution of our Systems Engineering processes, integrating best practices and educating other team members.
Embrace a Leader-Leader mentality, promoting an autonomous and empowered team environment.

Experience & Skills Required

Education: Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering (essential); Master's degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of Systems Engineering experience in a relevant field, with a focus on regulated industries like semiconductor manufacturing (desirable).
Skills:
Strong influence and negotiation skills across organizational levels.
Ability to lead by example, maintaining integrity, accountability, and a results-oriented mindset.
Proven experience in coaching, mentoring, and knowledge transfer.
Capability to manage stakeholders, drive ownership, and inspire collaboration across teams.
