Opportunity:

The company is seeking a Business Development Manager with expertise in agricultural crop marketing and agri-food sector expansion. This role focuses on driving sustainable growth through sales, product management, and client relationships. The ideal candidate will assess product effectiveness during R&D and client evaluations, identify successful new products, and advise management on market potential and production cost-effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

* Advising on product development progress, client evaluations, and commercialization feasibility.

* Engaging with customers and suppliers, facilitating value chains confidently.

* This role will involve international travel across the EMEA region as needed to establish new business, provide service, and expand existing accounts.

* Advising executive leadership on future resource needs.

* Performing ad hoc duties and reporting to the CEO.

Candidate Requirements:

* Minimum 5 years of business development experience in Agricultural/Horticultural sectors.

* Previous experience managing a small team (general manager, agronomists, researchers, field operatives) and coordinating cross-departmental information for reports and commercial outcomes.

* Expertise in guiding products from R&D to commercialization.

* Strong network of contacts in the Agricultural industry.

* Proficiency in MS Office Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with a willingness to learn new technical management tools.
