You will get the chance to work alongside other outstanding individuals, taking a technical role on a diverse range of exciting and challenging projects, from well-known consumer products, novel transport solutions to safety critical medical devices knowing that with your input you can make a real difference to people's lives. They operate in multi-functional project teams and our electronic engineers need to work closely with designers, mechanical engineers, software engineers and other skill teams to integrate the visual and functional aspects of a product to create class-leading designs.
Working Monday-Friday only 37 hours per week with overtime available paying £45,000pa.
What do you need?
A first or upper second class broad-based electronic engineering honours degree from a well-established university with a strong electronics reputation (or equivalent qualification).
At least three years' experience working as a hardware design engineer.
Strong proven ability in electronic design with a broad range of analogue and digital electronics design experience.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written. You will need to communicate confidently and persuasively, both in formal presentations and in less formal client and supplier liaison situations. Written reports, quotations and other documents will need to be produced accurately and in a well-written and well-presented form.
Self-motivation and the ability to work on your own initiative.
