Construction Manager - 18-Month Contract

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager for an 18-month contract based in Aldermaston, Reading. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in building construction, construction safety, and regulatory compliance within a secure environment.

Location: Aldermaston, Reading
Duration: 18 months
IR35 Status: Inside IR35
Security Clearance: SC clearance required from day one

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, manage, and oversee construction activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and successful project execution.
Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Oversee project risk registers and ensure compliance with CDM (Construction Design and Management) regulations.
Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure safety and quality standards are maintained throughout the construction process.
Apply knowledge of asbestos regulations and other relevant legislation for a compliant construction site.Essential Requirements:

Proven experience managing building construction projects with a successful track record.
Industry-standard qualification in construction/building (e.g., NVQ Level 6, ONC, HNC, HND, Degree, or equivalent).
Strong understanding of safety and health regulations, ideally holding SMSTS, NEBOSH Construction, or an equivalent certification.
A valid CSCS Manager's card, CCNSG Safety Passport, or a comparable industry-recognized safety card.Preferred Experience:

Extensive knowledge of building (rather than civil) construction projects.
