Job Description

Simon Acres Recruitment are proud to be working with a growing luxury brand known for designing kitchens and furniture for some of the country’s most iconic properties. We are seeking a creative and organised Kitchen Design Assistant to support our talented sales and design team in Berkshire.

Working Hours:

* Monday to Friday: 9:00am - 5:30pm

* Saturday: 10:00am - 4:00pm

* 5 days per week

Responsibilities:
• Assist sales and design team with quotations and design work.
• Ensure the showroom is open, clean, and organised; report any snagging issues.
• Follow the end-of-day showroom shutdown process.
• Maintain all common areas, ensuring they are tidy and professional.
• Prepare for presentations, welcome clients, and offer refreshments.
• Order and manage the supply of showroom essentials.
• Attend internal and external training courses for professional development.
• Maintain and stock brochures and samples.
• Answer phone calls and take concise messages.
• Meet and greet clients, including managing arranged client meetings.
• Assist with seasonal displays and gifts.
• Prepare fitter packs and train new colleagues on processes.
• Handle website enquiries and add to SMART.
• Prepare commission presentations and prospect for trade opportunities.
• Manage remedials, small additions, and larger project additions.
• Conduct design research and provide new project ideas.
• Perform quote checks during Design Manager’s absence.
• Provide design solutions and problem-solving support.
• Document and tidy client meeting areas, take photos of samples, and type up notes.
• Develop skills in sales and design; run small design and sales projects.

Qualifications:
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Creative flair with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the role.
• Proficiency in design software is a plus.
