Job Description

I'm excited to share a fantastic opportunity for a Senior UX Designer to join our client's fast-growing business. As their team continues to expand, they're on the lookout for a talented designer who has a keen eye for user experience.

In this role, you will be instrumental in crafting digital experiences that resonate with users. Your expertise will bridge the gap between user needs and technical feasibility, ensuring that every product not only looks great but functions seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities

User Insights: Lead user research initiatives to uncover insights into user behaviors, needs, and pain points, translating this data into actionable design strategies.

Innovative Design: Develop wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mock-ups that illustrate user interfaces and enhance overall user engagement.

Collaborative Integration: Partner closely with Developers to ensure that design and functionality align perfectly, promoting a user-first approach throughout the project lifecycle.

Documentation Excellence: Keep thorough documentation of design decisions, user flows, and prototypes to support both design and development teams.

Mentorship and Leadership: Guide and inspire junior designers, fostering a creative and collaborative team environment that encourages growth and innovation.

What We're Looking For

Experience: Demonstrated success as a UX Designer, with a robust portfolio that highlights your design projects and process.

Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus, enhancing your ability to collaborate with development teams. Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD is essential.

Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills to interpret user data and feedback effectively, using this information to drive design improvements.

Problem-Solving Skills: A keen eye for detail and ability to solve complex design challenges.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills that facilitate effective collaboration across teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Coding: Understanding of coding would be advantageous.

Passion for Learning: A commitment to continuous learning and staying current with industry trends and advancements.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.

If this role sounds like your next step, please reach out today and a member of the team will be in touch. Please note that applications submitted without a portfolio will not be considered.

Unfortunately, the client is unable to offer Visa sponsorship, so applicants should hold the Right to Work in the UK.
