They now have an exciting opportunity for a trainee UV Operator to join our team. They have over 60 years’ experience in Print /Press and have supplied printed packaging for the media, drinks, food and many other industries, with continued growth we are looking to expand out shifts.
Job description
Looking for a hard-working individual that loves the thrill of a fast-paced working environment working to deadlines within our busy manufacturing department. To operate our busy UV varnishing machine as well as carry out other finishing assistant duties such as guillotining within the department.
Main duties include but not limited to
* Operator UV coater working to deadlines and work to list.
* Maintain a clean working area and machine to maintain a good working machine.
* Guillotine any work that requires cutting when not UV varnishing.
* Strip out work needed for gluing lines when not UV varnishing.
* Other duties that are of reasonable request but not limited to the above.
Other duties could include
* Putting ink away
* Clearing out old dies
* Wrapping pallets and outwork
