Production Operative

Join the PepsiCo team today at their well-known Quaker Oats site in Cupar.

We are recruiting for Production Operatives on a temporary contract with work available from September to March.

Hourly Pay Rate of £11.70 per hour + guaranteed hours programme
Monday to Friday working week
Continental Shift pattern on a 3 week rotation, working both days and nights

What we need from you:

MUST BE CLEAN SHAVEN-H&S requirement for the use of fitted mask wearing for prevention of dust inhalation
Own transport is essential due to the remote location of this site, no public transport links are available.
Ability to work as part of a team
A confident communicator
Willingness to learn and work on own initiative
Basic numerical, reading and computer skills
Organised and methodical person with the ability to work under pressure
Flexible and proactive approach

Roles and Responsibilities

Hand pack products in production arrears
Manually stack pallets
Wrap pallets using manual and automatic stretch wrappers
Move waste bins using waste bin management system
General wall/floor cleaning and tidying of all manufacturing areas
Basic equipment cleaning, support both product and flavour changes
Loading of machinery with raw materials
Reworking of hold material
Basic machine intervention (Stop in case of emergency)
Support isolation of machinery conducting cleaning tasks
The above responsibilities are not exhaustive, and you may be required to complete other duties from time to time
