CMA Recruitment Group are partnering exclusively with a dynamic SME manufacturing business based in Basingstoke, who are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Business Partner to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving HR strategy within a fast-paced and innovative organisation that fosters collaboration and growth.

What will the HR Business Partner role involve:

As an HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for delivering both strategic and operational HR support across the business. Working closely with senior leaders, you will influence decision-making and provide advice on a wide range of HR issues, ensuring the business attracts, develops, and retains top talent.

Key responsibilities:

Act as a trusted advisor to management on HR-related issues, offering both strategic guidance and day-to-day operational support.
Lead on employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, and organisational development.
Partner with key stakeholders to drive initiatives around workforce planning, succession planning, and employee development.
Ensure compliance with employment law and company policies, managing risk effectively.
Implement and refine HR policies and processes to align with business goals and drive continuous improvement.
Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement, wellbeing, and retention.
Provide detailed HR metrics and analytics to inform management decisions and support business objectives.
Suitable candidate for the HR Business Partner vacancy:

CIPD qualified (Level 5 or above) or equivalent experience.
Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar HR role, preferably within an SME or manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Capable of working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-moving environment.
Experience in leading change management initiatives and fostering a high-performance culture.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
