Salary: Negotiable, DOE
Location: Oxford
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday days, with some flexibility required.

ISQ Recruitment is excited to be recruiting for an HR Officer on behalf of a well-respected client in the manufacturing and logistics sector.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an HR professional with a CIPD Diploma to support a growing business and make a real impact on its HR function.

Job Purpose:
The HR Officer will provide vital support to the HR Manager and local management, advising on a wide range of HR issues, including disciplinary processes, performance management, and employee development. The role will also involve managing new starters, leavers, and supporting the delivery of key people initiatives.
 
Main Responsibilities:

HR Advice: Provide guidance to local management on disciplinary, grievance, and performance management issues in line with legislation and union agreements.
Employee Processes: Process new starters and leavers, and deliver HR induction for new employees.
HR Database Management: Maintain the HR database and Time and Attendance systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Reporting: Generate reports related to Time and Attendance, HR metrics, and employee data.
People Initiatives: Assist in the implementation of key people initiatives to support business growth and employee development.
Support for Audits: Assist with maintaining HR compliance during external audits and support the HR Manager with any necessary actions. Qualifications and Experience Required:

CIPD Qualification: A CIPD Diploma or working towards full CIPD qualification is essential.
Experience: Proven experience in an HR role, ideally within a manufacturing or logistics environment.
IT Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with computerised HR systems, including payroll and benefits management.
Communication & Organisation: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to compile and interpret data clearly, and influence HR policies. If you are an experienced HR Officer with a passion for supporting people and driving HR initiatives, we encourage you to apply.
