Swift placements are working with a client based within Bradford, who are seeking a dynamic and experienced Key Account Manager to join their growing team within the housing sector. The successful candidate will play a critical role in building and maintaining long-term relationships with key clients such as housing associations, property developers, and local authorities. You will act as the main point of contact for strategic accounts, ensuring client satisfaction, retention, and driving growth opportunities.

This role involves a mix of client relationship management, account development, and cross-functional collaboration to meet the business goals and client needs.

Monday to Friday

Hours: 9:00am- 5:00pm

Competitive salary of £30,000 – £40,000, depending on experience.

This role is fully office based in Bradford.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:

* Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders across assigned accounts, including housing associations, property developers, and local authorities.

* Act as the primary point of contact, ensuring regular communication and prompt resolution of client issues.

* Conduct regular meetings, reviews, and performance evaluations with key accounts to understand their needs and challenges.

Account Growth and Retention:

* Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts, including up-selling and cross-selling opportunities.

* Develop and execute tailored account plans to achieve revenue growth and client retention.

* Work closely with the directors to secure renewals and contract extensions.

Project and Service Delivery:

* Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., operations, project management, customer service) to ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions to meet the client's expectations.

* Monitor the performance of services provided to ensure they meet contractual obligations and client satisfaction.

Reporting and Documentation:

* Prepare regular reports and presentations on account performance, client feedback, and business development opportunities.

* Maintain accurate records of client interactions and key metrics using the company’s CRM system.

Key Skills & Competencies:

* Exceptional relationship management skills with the ability to understand client needs and develop tailored solutions.

* Strong understanding of the housing sector, including housing associations, property developers, or local authority environments.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence at various levels of an organisation.

* Proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on finding effective solutions for client issues.

* Confident in negotiation and influencing discussions to secure mutually beneficial outcomes.

* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritise tasks effectively.

Qualifications & Experience:

* Proven experience as a Key Account Manager or similar role, ideally within the housing sector or a related industry (e.g., construction, property management, or social housing).

* Strong understanding of the housing sector, including key players, regulations, and current challenges.

* Demonstrated track record of successfully managing large-scale accounts and delivering against revenue and client satisfaction targets.

* Experience working with housing associations, property developers, or local authorities is highly desirable.

* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
