Job Description

Tank Wash Operative

Menzies Distribution Solutions are currently looking for a Tank Wash Operative to join our Tankers team based in Droitwich. You’ll be responsible for carring out pump and hose washing (training provided) of Tankers.  The cleaning of wash facility daily and to deep clean weekly and to carry out general yard work, Trailer/Tanker checks and yard tanker movements.

The Details:

Salary: £29,000.00 Per Annum 
Monday to Friday 
Hours: 08:00-17:00 
Holiday entitlement is 28 including Bank Holidays
Monthly Pay
Tank Wash Operative Duties

Adhere to cleaning schedule and procedures to ensure the correct levels of cleanliness are maintained
Attend to product spillages when they occur and follow the spillage procedure
Monitor quality of hoses and notify Depot Manager of any requirements / damages.
Complete all required forms on a daily basis
Tank Washing and post wash inspections to be completed
Complete wash certificates and drivers log books after each wash completed 
Comply with standards and procedures and compliance to record keeping
Report any potential failures to conform
Participate in quality management reviews
Deliver items in a van as and when required
Key Experience and Qualifications:

License: Car – will be trained to move HGV vehicles round the Droitwich Site / yard areas
Good observational skills to spot defective items
The ability to follow strict health and safety guidelines and quality procedures
Good standards of personal hygiene
Able to work under pressure
Works within the parameters of the health and safety/environmental policies
Technical skills and behavioral competencies:

Excellent time-management skills with ability to adhere to deadlines
