Deputy Operations Manager – Nursery Group

Are you an experienced Nursery Manager with a proven track record looking for more responsibility?

Our client is a family-owned company (established 35 years ago) and because there are no shareholders to answer to things happen quickly within the business!

The successful Deputy Nursery Operations Manager will report to the Operations Manager and Director and become part of our client’s Senior Management Team. The nursery group are constantly reviewing, improving and reflecting upon their services to children and families and the successful candidate will be a key part of this process.

As a Deputy Operations Manager you will be responsible for:

* Assisting with the continuous professional development of Nursery Managers through regular, documented one to one meetings and appraisals. You will be mentoring and supporting them and providing regular feedback on performance to maintain outstanding standards within the nursery settings.

* Working with the Operations Manager to identify, source and deliver appropriate training and support.

* Ensuring Nursery Managers are implementing all policies and procedures as required.

* Working on site with Nursery Managers at their settings to ensure the smooth operation of our client’s nurseries and working collaboratively with all departments to achieve company objectives.

* Supporting and mentoring Nursery Managers with all matters and concerns, making sure these are dealt with promptly and fully in line with our client’s policies and procedures.

* Ensuring that every nursery offers each child the best opportunity to fulfil their potential.

* Supporting the Nurseries in preparing for Ofsted inspections and following inspector recommendations, maintaining outstanding results.

Clean driving licence essential as much of your time will involve visiting our client’s nurseries.

This role will offer a basic salary of 42K-55K plus a company car and many other benefits
