My client is a relatively new company who specialise in the manufacture of high-end refuse collection vehicles. In the short time they have been trading they have seen their business grow rapidly, largely due to the 20+ years’ expert experience of the senior management team.

Due to the success of the company, they are now urgently looking for the services of a Semi Skilled Mechanical Plant Fitter to join their expert team based in the Leyland area.

As a Semi-Skilled Mechanical Plant Fitter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing various types of mechanical plant equipment.

Your duties will involve disassembling and reassembling both new and used capital equipment, preparing them for sale to clients throughout the United Kingdom.

Skills and Experience

* Proven experience as a mechanical fitter or similar role.

* Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, including engines, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

* Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.

* Ability read drawings.
