09:00am - 17:30pm (Monday to Friday)

The Recruitment Co. are recruiting for one of our key clients in Newton Heath and this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Job Responsibilities:

Working with Financial Management Accounting Systems (SAGE)
Carry out daily Ledger Accounting for both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
Deal with daily financial queries internally and externally
Daily Bank Reconciliation.
Gather Supplier's invoices from each department, reconcile, authorise and ensure prompt payment of invoices
Produce Debtors and Creditors Reports and Analyse findings
Produce Bank Reconciliation with General Ledger
Closure of debtors Accounts -undertake Budget managements, Fees, and Expenses
Vat Returns
Credit controlling; chasing debts, ensure we keep in line with the cash forecast
Keeping all client information up to date and current
Daily Sales Invoicing
Daily Purchase Updating
Checking and reconciling supplier statements and dealing with differences in a timely manner.
Payment Runs - twice per month
Accrual monthly overview
Weekly Time sheets
Monthly Payroll summary
Dealing with employee wage queries
Ensuring Staff files are compliant at all times
Monthly headcount and open position report to HQ
Weekly time and attendance reporting to management

The Person:

A recognised financial qualification or at least five years of experience.
Previous experience in a similar role is essential
Able to maintain accurate and effective record keeping systems.
Can produce accurate records and reports
Can communicate effectively with HQ in Germany
Shows sensitivity and objectivity in dealing with confidential issues
Works on own initiative, prioritise work, handle pressure, and meet deadlines
Willing to contribute to the team
Flexible and efficient while demonstrating excellent attention to detail
Reliable, punctual, professional
Strong administration skill
Strong communication skills
Competent in Excel and Word
